Abia State deputy governor, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has condoled the former Abia Governor and Member representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Chief T. A. Orji over the death of his brother, late Bishop – Elect, Anthony Chukwuemeka Orji describing his demise as a blow to the family and the state.
Sir Oko Chukwu Speaking during a condolences visit to their country home, Amaokwe Ugba Autonous Community, Umuahia North LGA pointed out that life and death remains a mystery that can only be controlled by God who decided the fate of all mortals hence they should take the demise of their beloved father and brother as the will of God.
The deputy governor described late Bishop Elect, Anthony Orji as a man who lived a wonderful life and contributed so much to the development of his community, church and humanity at large and that the good testimonies concerning him is a consolation that he is resting peaceful with God.
He urged the bereaved family especially the brother Sen T. A. Orji to take heart and accept the realities of the demise of his brother by upholding his sterling qualities and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
Responding on behalf of the family, Chief Mourner and Member representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Chief T. A. Orji who stated that thought, he acknowledged the fact that death is inevitable for all mortals, he has come to term at the death of his beloved brother who he described as a man with peaceful disposition and fear of God having rose to the Bishop Elect in the Brotherhood of the cross and star.
Sen Orji appreciated the deputy governor and everyone that have sympathised with him on the death of his brother and prayed God to bless them.
