2019: South East Urged to Work for Atiku/Obi’s Victory

South Easterners have been admonition to work assiduously for the actualization of Atiku/Obi ticket under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the zone stands to benefit immensely from their emergent.

The South East Zonal Coordinator of United Nigeria for Atiku/Obi 2019, Chief Franklin Orji state this during the inauguration of the group in Umuahia called on the people in the zone in particular and Nigeria as a whole to work very hard to ensure adequate mobilisation and galvanization of people’s interest to support Atiku Abubukar and the party, the PDP to ensure total victory for all their candidates at the 2019 polls.

Chief Orji noted that the United Nigeria for Atiku/Obi was one of the support groups formed to educate, mobilize and galvanize the Nigerian masses on the need to read in between the lines and vote for excellence, come February 2019 general election as well to support and work for the victory of other PDP candidates vying for various positions in election.

He said that based on the policy documents entitled “My plan to get Nigeria working again”, were Alhaji Atiku outlined various pillars of his administration in job creation, infrastructure building, poverty eradication and human capacity development, the PDP candidates have proved to have the best knowledge and understanding of how to make the country work again.

He assured that a PDP government at the centre and at all levels would restored peace and unity, ensure equity and social justice, security and good economic policies.

Earlier, the Abia state Coordinator of the group , Mr Stanley Alozie regretted that Nigeria is at the worst of its decline caused by the anti democratic postures of those in power which have threatened our democratic foundation.

Also speaking, a traditional ruler, King Larry Ogbonna urged the zonal Coordinator and other members of the group to spread this message of change to all the nooks and crannies of the communities, local and their states in order to achieve the desired result.

The highlight of the occasion was an administration of oath of office during which members pledged to work for the victory of Atiku/Obi candidature and that of other PDP candidates in next year’s election.
